You want them to be able to listen with an open mind to your concerns, you want them to treat you fairly and without preconceived notions about your capabilities, judgement, and needs. The Human Services Professional is an expert at human interface. They are trained to assess human intention, behavior and circumstances without judgement. THIS is the point of development for this type of professional learning - THIS is what the Preview event (September 2021) and the One Love Symposium (February 2022) are driving toward - to learn from critical stakeholders, NOT just academics what this job needs to be.
